A Festive CIA Christmas Celebration!
Written by Ms. Mavuso
Ho! Ho! Ho! CIA Community,
Last Friday, our school transformed into a hub of festive cheer as we hosted our highly anticipated Christmas Party. This annual tradition brought together students, parents, and staff for an afternoon filled with music, joy, and community spirit.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the spectacular lineup of performances, showcasing the exceptional talents of our students across all grades. Each act added its unique charm to the celebration:
Festive tunes and moves from our elementary performers!
- Grade 2
Orchestra delighted the audience with a heartwarming rendition of Jingle Bells, setting a merry tone for the afternoon.
- Grade 3 & 4
Orchestra kept the energy high with their lively performance of Up on the Housetop.
- Grade 7–9
Violin and Cello Ensemble mesmerized us with Pachelbel Rocks, blending classical and modern elements beautifully.
- Grade 10–12
Rock Band brought the house down with their spirited take on Santa Tell Me, a performance that had everyone clapping along.
These acts, along with many others, truly reflected the hard work and dedication of our students and their mentors. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers who guided the performers and to the students who put their best foot forward on stage.
As we close out this memorable event, we remind everyone that Exam Week is now underway. We encourage all students to stay focused and give their best efforts. Let’s end this term on a high note! Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a successful exam week.
