Hi! I am Joshua. I am Grade10 in CIA. I started to play tennis when I was nine. When I went to senior high school, I thought I would have stopped playing tennis because the loading of school work was way too much to handle. However, we have tennis class every week in CIA, and my coach is a professional player! As a result, I continue to play tennis. I found the frequency of playing tennis in CIA is higher than ever. As you may know, we have tennis courts in school, and we can play tennis anytime we want. I have improved my tennis skill so much after I came to CIA. I am so grateful.
Hi everyone, I am Mason Hsu. I’ve been playing baseball for seven years before I came to CIA. It’s not easy to find the right balance between school work and extracurricular activities. Fortunately, CIA made everything so much easier for me. In CIA, we have break time for each session and self-study period for us to finish our assignments. Plus, we can join different clubs or sports teams after school, such as guitar club, dancing club or golf club, etc. That is why I can do so well in both areas. Whenever I have questions, I ask my teachers or professors. They are always so patient with me. I’ve learned a lot from CIA and I love this place. CIA is such a great place for teenagers to learn and grow.
CIA recognizes the need for balance in the lives of our students. There are a number of opportunities available to satisfy the athletic interests of all of our students. It is an expectation for all of our students to utilize the remarkable facilities and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Exceptional athletes are welcome to vie for a place in our varsity sports program (golf, baseball, tennis). These programs are varied and matched to the students’ interests. Each is designed to assist students in reaching their full academic and athletic potential. Students playing varsity athletics compete nationally as well as internationally. It is not uncommon for these athletes to gain access to outstanding international colleges and universities upon graduation.
All other students may participate in the recreational sports which include the above as well as kayaking, squash, badminton, and yoga.
